Cristian was born and raised in the San Carlos area by the Arenal Volcano. He moved to Jaco Beach with his dad 16 years ago, finished his study in high school and started working as a guide in adventure canopy tours. Then 4 years he had the opportunity to help build another large project in the area and worked there for 5 years. He was helping to build other canopy and ropes projects in Guanacaste, until Jaco Canyoning was able to lure him away gave him the opportunity to help and assist the growth of the company. With his easy smile and calm manner he is a joy to spend time in the forest with. He is the father of three beautiful children. “I love my family and I love what I do every day, thanks.”

Wilson was born in San Ramon, Alajuela, Costa Rica. He moved to Jaco Beach and finished high school, and after graduation he started working in canopy and adventure tours for 4 years. For the next 5 years he was designing, building and guiding Zipline and canopy tours in the area. After 2 years of selling cars and golf carts he realized the jungle is the place for him, and he came to work for Jaco Canyoning He always has a smile on his face now. He has a 4 year old daughter, Emma, who is so cute she will make you melt.

Mike is an expat from the USA. After coming to Costa Rica the first time in 2002 he knew his future would be here someday. He moved down to CR with his family in 2010 and is here to stay. He absolutely loves his job and it shows. Teaching people to rappel down waterfalls and showing others how to cliff jump on the extreme tour is a dream job. His nickname, “the whisperer” is not because he is quiet (HE’S NOT), it’s because he can seem to talk people off of ledges they never thought they would rappel or jump off of. If someone is really scared or has doubts about their abilities he is great at empowering them to find what they need inside themselves to complete the task on their own. He says he feels a little guilty taking the money on payday (but he always takes it)!

With over ten years rappelling, climbing and canyoning experience under his harness Vince’s experience far exceeds his youthful appearance. He loves all things that pump him up with adrenaline: cliff jumping, surfing, riding his motorcycle, bungee jumping and canyoneering of course. All those interests and yet Vincent is a very patient and cautious guide.

He has a calming affect on 1st time rappellers fears and fills them with confidence. So come and “hang out” with him.

​Hannah is a former Mainiac, east coast thru and thru. She has worked, played and learned in hospitality all her ‘adult’ life. With a calling for more sun, more beach, and a whole lot less cold, she and her son packed their bags and moved it all down to hot Costa Rica. She has the best travel mate ever and loves every adventure as a mom. She loves to surf, travel and to run with her dog. And those lazy days in the sun. Working at Jaco Canyoning gives her the excuse to go out and play in the jungle and appreciate all the life Costa Rica has to offer. Always a people person, she can’t wait to help folks plan for the most fun on their vacation. She is constantly inspired by this country’s beauty and doesn’t want you to miss any of it! Pura Vida!
